Workshop for Friars in Collaboration for Ministry or School

May 27 - May 30

This event begins on Monday, May 27th (Memorial Day) with a celebration including friars from all over Michigan.

Typically, the social starts around 3 pm with supper around 5 pm. The evening is a social.

On Tuesday morning and afternoon, and Wednesday morning, Amy Peterson and John Celichowski will lead us in casual conversations about our experiences as a friar in collaboration.
These sessions will focus on experiences when first arriving, after settling in, and in the long run.

During Wednesday afternoon Mark Joseph will lead us and the entire PC in a discussion about the developing renewal of the Provincial Plan and how friars in collaboration fit into the plan.
The Provincial Council plans to be with us all day Wednesday.

Wednesday late afternoon is reserved for the Perpetual Profession of Daniel Viyakularaj.
His provincial, Antonysamy, will be with us to receive his vows.

Remember that Baudry and Alwin will be ordained deacons at St. Bonaventure church on Saturday, June 1st at 10:30 am.

If you plan to stay at Capuchin Retreat for more than the indicated nights, please inform Lesley Healy <>

There are no rooms anywhere in Detroit City after the workshop because of the ordination.
So, plan to stay at Capuchin Retreat if you are staying for the ordination et al.

If you intend to stay at St. Bonaventure’s before the collaborators’ workshop, know that there are few guestrooms in the city.
