Yesterday was a quiet day in our area. Eastern and southern Ukraine at war. Sunday morning in our area calm! What will the day bring?
God, give us peace!

The Word… “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone.”
I am convinced that this nation that has seen the light is Ukraine: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?”
There will be light, there will be no trepidation, when I follow Jesus, not before him, but after Jesus.

We live in war, we do not live by war.

Today the Italian brothers from Milan visited. They are secular Franciscans and are active in a humanitarian organization: Opera San Francesco. They brought medical equipment to the hospital. They conveyed greetings and assurances of prayers also from Fr. Marcello, a Capuchin from Milan. (photo)
